The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents’ Chapel has chosen to confer the Award of “Security Personnel” on the Divisional Police Officer of “B” Division in Warri, CSP Anieteh Eyoh for constructing the best police station in the whole of West Africa as well as ridding Warri of criminal activities.
NUJ Warri Chairman, Comrade Akpokona Omafuaire disclosed this a remark when members of the Union paid the DPO a courtesy visit in Warri. Omafuaire stated that, “The Award is not bought with money. We give it to people who merit it and you are one of those people who merit it.”
Omafuaire noted that the award will be conferred on the fine Police
Officer during the NUJ Annual Press Week which is billed to hold
November this year.
Omafuaire stated that the edifice in the Police Station is a testimony
of the work CSP Eyoh.
“You have done what many policemen have not done. T his edifice is a testimony of your work.
“We are here to inform you that this award. Your efforts, work are not in vain.”
While pointing out that the Police has enjoyed a robust relationship
with the NUJ,Omafuaire promised to continue to give the police its

thanked members of the NUJ and assured them of one hundred per cent cooperation in the discharge of its duties.
“I will not hesitate to say thank you. You are encouraging me to do
