Besides the hosting of professional tournaments for male golfers quarterly made earlier by him, Chairman of Pinnacle Communications Limited, Sir Lucky Omoluwa has also pledged to give professional female golfers a sense of belonging.
He expressed this, while fielding questions from newsmen at the closing ceremony of the KADINVEST Pinnacle Communications Pro-Am Golf Tournament which ended at the Kaduna Golf Club 1921 on Sunday.
He said that as a former professional, it was his own way of contributing back to the society through developing the game and helping professionals to earn income.
Sir Omoluwa disclosed that the emergence of Malam Nasir El-Rufai paved way for his return to Kaduna after many years of his stay away from the state.
”About two years ago Malam Nasir el-Rufai was elected Governor of Kaduna state and my joy knew no bounds because of my personal conviction that this would pave the way for my return to Kaduna, a city I had left for about fourteen years”, Omoluwa said.
“This statement has not been proved wrong. His foresight for the state is very clear in the laudable programs particularly those that encourage investment like KADINVEST.
“What else can I do but to key into the Government programs by contributing my quota through very little thing like sponsoring a tournament like this
“The aspiration is to let people that come and those that hear about this tournament know that Kaduna is indeed open for investment”.
