All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters from Jaba LGA on Friday June 8, 2018 stormed the Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM) head office in Kaduna, Protestesting that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is trying to steal their mandate in the rescheduled polls held in the LGA on Wednesday June 6, 2018.
The protesters armed with various placards which bore various inscriptions were however, dispersed from the entrance to KADSIECOM by the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) personnel, drafted to secure the area.
The aggrieved supporters who came at a perfect timing when the KADSIECOM boss, Saratu Dikko-Audu was briefing the press on outcome of rescheduled polls in five local government areas, insisted that their party beat the PDP in Jaba, which traditionally, is PDP stronghold.
The KADSIECOM boss the fielding questions from newsmen concerning the development in Jaba, advised both parties to seek redress at the election Tribunal.
She explained that two different results were received from Jaba, a development that has made the commission to leave the tribunal with the final say.
The angry apc supporters rejected the advice, insisting that their candidate be declared winner by KADSIECOM.
