Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has congratulated the new National Chairman of the All Peoples Congress, Adams Ashiomhole.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner of Information, Youth and Culture, Ma’am Muhammad Garba, Governor Ganduje also felicitates with 19 other national leaders that emerged victorious during the party’s National Convention in Abuja.
“On behalf of my humble self, APC leadership and teeming members in Kano State, I congratulate the newly elected National Chairman and 19 other national officers of our great party, APC.
“Your election comes at a crucial time when our party needs strong and visionary leadership that is committed to promoting the much needed unity, peace and progress at all levels”.
“I have no doubt in my mind that you will use your wealth of experience and ingenuity in genuine democratic politicking, administration and organizational capabilities to mend the cracks within the party and bring together once again the dissenting voices”.
“The common aspiration of taking the party to greater heights and flying it’s flag higher as we match towards the crucial politicking of winning the 2019 general elections is, to say the least, almost accomplished with the emergence of the new leadership”.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje therefore urged the new executives to discharge their responsibilities within the ambit of the law as dictated by the constitution of the party for the progress of APC and general wellbeing of Nigerians in general.
