As the curtains  draw  on the Savannah  Conference Volleyball League on Saturday June  30, 2018,  two teams are sure of finishing as top  best  in the male category.

Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)  have both  been  invincible,  maintaining  unbeaten  streaks  so far.

In Friday’s matches,  while the NIS trounced  Kano  3-0, NSCDC devoured  Kaduna  by same sets.

Kano fell to NIS  18-25, 15-25 and 18-25, while NSCDC beat  Kaduna  25-16, 25-20 and 25-17.

In the match  between  Plateau  State and Wikki which was used to  commence  proceedings on Day 6, the former did not sweat  much  before  beating  their opponents in three straight  sets.

The sets  ended 25-17, 25-17 and 25-20, leaving  Wikki ladies who were on ground to cheer  their male team disappointed.

In the last male clash for the day,  the Power  Boys  from Niger were better than their opponents  Spartans  of Adamawa in three  sets,  while the latter  claimed  victory in one set as the game ended 3-1.

The first  female game for the day  was a smooth  sail for the NIS as they walked  over  Plateau.

In the second female  match,  Wikki  subdued  Spartans  of Adamawa after four sets,  3-1.

The scoreline  was  25-19, 21-25, 25-19 and 25-19.

At the end of  the conference on Saturday,  four  male and equal  number of female teams will qualify for the national finals billed for Lagos.
