2019: Uduaghan Has Right To Join Us – APC

The All Progressives Congress (,APC) in Delta State on Thursday stated that former Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan has a right to join its fold ahead of the forthcoming general elections in Nigeria.
This is coming based on rumors that Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan who is contesting the Delta South Senatorial Seat is making moves to dump the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State.
Delta State APC Chairman, Prophet Jones Erue who was recently inaugurated by the APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole made the assertion in a chat with  AUTHENTIC News Daily.
Erue who could not confirm the decamp rumor said”Uduaghan has a right first as a Nigerian, second as a Delta from Delta Senatorial District and from his Ward in Warri. If he decides to join us, Hurray for the APC. It becomes his party. He is welcome to the party.
Erue who was reacting to the rumor described political parties as an association of people who wants to win elections.
While noting that Political parties are open for people in and out for those who want to join, Erue said verybody has a right to join political parties of their choice stressing that,”It is not the duty of the chairman to drive anyone.
Erue said,”Doing that means you’re infringing on the right of that person” just as he emphasized that, “He is welcome to the party.”
Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan at the Delta South PDP Mega Rally which held recently in Oleh, Isoko South said,”Only the people will decide who to represent them”.
Should Uduaghan be denied the Delta South Senatorial ticket and he finally joins the APC going by the rumor, many others from within Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa’s cabinet who afraid to speak up may join him.
Those contesting the Delta South Senatorial Seat with Dr. Emmanuel Ewetan Uduaghan are Sen. James Manager, incumbent member representing the people of Delta South Senatorial District and Hon. Michael Diden a.k.a, Ejele, member representing the people of Warri North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly.
