Shun Criminal Activities, Delta Community Warns Cultists

Igbudu Community in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State on Tuesday warned cultists resident within their land to desist from Criminal activities in their land.
The Community threatened to hand over anyone apprehended in the acts to the relevant Security Agencies for prosecution.
President of Igbudu Community, Amb. Ogheneovo Pius Oyiboaga handed down the warning during an exclusive chat with AUTHENTIC News Daily
Amb. Oyiboaga said Igbudu Community does not support or encourage cult activities stressing that, “We say NO to cultism for a very long time.”
The Community said,”Anyone caught parading himself as a cultist what belongs to you is Okere.
“If you know you don’t want to repent, the Security Outfit can help us, anybody you send there, as far as they’ve pronounced it that he is a cultist, he should go for 15years jail.
” If 15years is added to your age, when you return back, I want to know how you will live.”
Amb. Oyiboaga who raised the alarm over the return of Cultists have returned back to the Community said cultists do go on rampage particularly at weekends stealing, maiming and dispossessing petty traders as well as residents of their personal belongings.
The Igbudu community youth president noted that the Community has tried its best in Securing the area from criminal activities since his assumption of office.
Another challenge he said the Community is facing is the redeployment of the Divisional Police Officer. ( DPO)  “B” Division, CSP Anieteh Eyoh to Asaba.
“One challenge we are having today, we heard that the DPO that is helping us to fight the crime seriously has been transfered.
” I believe that is not too good to the Security State of Warri because he is doing a good security job in this town as far as am concerned.
He should be return back to warri for the sack of good security. IGP, CP should help in returning back the DPO.
