Kaduna State Cricket Team subdued its maiden opponent Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja at the 4th edition of the National Youth Games which was declared open at the University of Ilorin on Monday.
They beat their their opponents 182-66.
Coach of the team, Joseph Oche Onoja it was an easy win because they played six players against 11.
“I am not happy because five of our players were screened out. Two was our fault but the other three were screened out for no just cause,” he said.
“We will continue following them to ensure they are brought back. Like Ogun State, they were returned after they where screened.
“I am not satisfied with the screening,” he submitted.
Onoja explained that all the documents of their players are available.
“So we urge the authorities to verify with a view to bringing them back to playing our next match on Tuesday by 9am against Oyo,” he appealed.
In spite of the unfavourable development, he assured that they will go all out and emerge victorious in their match against Oyo.
“We will play and we are hoping to win,” he added.
