Nigeria male volleyball team has been drawn to clash with Cameroon, Rwanda and Tunisia in the Group A of the 2018 men’s U-21 Africa Nations Cup in Abuja as eight countries compete.
Defending champions, Egypt were drawn in Group B along with Chad, Egypt and Morocco
Chad took on Morocco Wednesday, by noon in a game that ended 0-3, while hosts Nigeria face Cameroon by 3pm.
Tunisia begins her campaign against Rwanda by 5pm and the defending champions meet Congo by 7pm.
Eight countries divided into two preliminary pools will slug it out in Nigeria from 12th to 20th September, 2018.
The draws of the championship was witnessed by the Confederation of Africa Volleyball President, Dr Amr Elwani and Control committee of the competition in Abuja.
The African U-21 Nations Cup serves as 2019 World Championship qualifiers where the top two African teams book their tickets to represent Africa in the FIVB U-21 championship.
