Vigilante Strips Two Over Alleged Looting In Delta

A Local Vigilante popularly known as Agbor Gha-Ihun in Agbor,  Ika South Local Government Area  Delta State on Thursday stripped two suspects naked and paraded them for allegedly looting property worth thousands of Naira at the Direct Labour Agency (DLA) Yard at Ime-Obi in Agbor in the early hours, AUTHENTIC News Daily can report.
The two suspects, identified as Monday Ahie and Lucky Jegbefume were arrested by members of the Vigilante Group in Delta North Area of Delta State.
The vigilante also recovered a thick armoured cable valued at four hundred thousand Naira (N400,000) as well as three heavy duty batteries estimated at eighty thousand Naira (N80,000) each.
At the time of filing this report, the suspects have been handed over to the Police in Agbor.
Contacted, the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Muhammad Mustafa confirmed the report, stressing that he has ordered the transfer of the suspects to the State CID for investigation.
CP Mustafa noted that the suspects were arrested at Agbor Community as vandals.
According to CP Mustafa”It is not going to be business as usual except the criminals relocate elsewhere and not Delta State.
“The suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded,”
