Many Injured As Violence Mars NANS Election, Police Makes Arrests

There was serious tension in the City of Warri, Delta State as violence marred the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS (Delta Zone) elections leaving many students seriously injured with a few others arrested by men of the Nigeria Police Force AUTHENTIC News Daily can report.
The cause of the violence was still sketchy at the time of filing this report.
Policenen drafted to Dom-Domingos College, venue of the election shot to disperse the violent students who attacked each other with dangerous weapons like battle axe, bottles, daggers and others.
The Police whisked some of the students away from the venue in NANS Official bus before arresting a few students.
The battle between the students was so fierce as it caused serious fear amongst motorists along Edjeba road.
An eyewitness who craved anonymity said they attacked and injured each other seriously.
