The Delta State Ministry of Transport and Environment have set up a task force to enforce the collection of car stickers in the state as part of efforts to shore up the revenue base of the state.
In a joint statement, both Ministries appointed Osisa Global Enterprise under the chairmanship of Mr Isamede Ossai-Abda as the consultant in charge of the Task Force.
According to the Statement, the Task Force will arrest those with illegal car stickers and those selling car stickers of other states thereby reducing the revenue of Delta State.
The consultant in charge has appointed Comrade Donald Onoriode Obunike as the Task Force chairman in Delta South and Central.
According to the Statement also, commercial drivers in Delta Central and Delta South are to go to the nearest vehicle inspection office,(V.I.O.) in Warri to collect the original stickers, while those in Delta North should go to Ministry Transport office in Asaba.
