*plans visit to governor for full regalia decoration

The Traditional Council of Kufana District in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State has thrown its weight in support of the traditional title of Agom Otumah bestowed on Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai.
This was expressed in a communiqué issued on Thursday July 11, 2019, signed by the District Scribe, Stephen Maikori.
“The council supports the conferment of traditional title of AGOM OTUMAH to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State Mal Nasir Ahmed El-Rufai,” it stated.
According to the statement, the support came at the end of an emergency meeting of Kufana district traditional council held at the district office Kufana, on Monday July 8, 2019.
“Kufana District Traditional Council held an emergency meeting which comprises all village heads, title holders and the district scribe.
“The meeting was summoned by Chief Titus Dauda the District Head of Kufana,” it said.
It further stated that the council pledged their loyalty to the district head.
“The council resolved to uphold the traditional institution.
” The district head should liase with the Executive Chairman to agree on a date to visit the Governor with the full regalia of his title,” it added.
The statement said that the district traditional council appreciates the Executive Governor for the construction of Kasuwan Magani market.
“The district traditional council will continue to work with all relevant authorities for lasting peace and development in Kufana district, Kajuru LGA, Kaduna State and Nigeria,” it concluded.
