The University of Maiduguri Borno State, Northern Nigeria had within Thursday night and this morning Friday experienced multiple explosions in different locations in the institution.
The first one exploded around 9.50pm on Thursday night and the second one 20 minutes later.
AUTHENTIC News Daily gathered from New Nigerian Newspapers reports that also this morning, according one Adamu Mohammed a student of the institution who was in the school when all these happened.
As at time of filling in this report, the damage caused and lives lost could not be ascertain but it has created fears in the hearts of the students who are writing exams but was given some break to allow the candidates of JAMB write their exams.
Maiduguri is the capital of Borno State which has been under the crisis of Boko Haram since 2009. Since the coming of the insurgency; it was recently that the Institution started experiencing attack by the terrorists.
