In furtherance of its quest to attain full autonomy in all the 774 local government areas of the country, the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has concluded plans to hold rallies that may ground all state capitals in the country.
This was gathered from a letter for support for the rally, which AUTHENTIC News Daily stumbled upon.
According to the letter, the rally is billed to hold simultaneously in all the state capitals on August 21.
“This is to inform you that there will be a national rally by Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) (to hold in each state capital) on Monday, August 21, 2017 in support of Local Government Autonomy.
“You are please requested to mobilise your members across the country to be part of this rally.
“The presence of national leadership will be very helpful.
While counting on your understanding, please accept the renewed assurances of our highest esteem,” the letter stated.
