Police Recover Weapons From Dare-Devil Armed Robbers In Effurun

The Police under Ekpan Divisional Headquarters at about 11am on Friday September 22,  recovered weapons from a set of armed robbers along the NPA Expressway by the Army Barrack in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

AUTHENTIC News Daily gathered that the items recovered include two empty AK47 Magazines and four facemasks and two plate numbers AR593UGH and PTN706TA.

The gang of armed robbers who are now at large were intercepted by Officers and men of the Ekpan police Division who were on routine patrol while transferring the weapons into Gold coloured Camry Car believed to have been snatched and stolen.

 

On sighting the Police,the suspected armed robbers fled with the Camry and abandoned a C240 Mercedes Benz with Registration Number BEN 926AH.

Contacted, the Ekpan Divisional Police Officer, CSP Ahmed Ibn Umar declined comments on the matter.
