DESAA Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Victor Umoh sealed the transport company as the government agency embarked on sealing up of business premises who have failed to comply with demands of payment for the signage.
Umoh stated that DESAA and Local Government Councils would work in synergy to ensure that revenue meant for the State are paid to the State purse.
Mr. Umoh noted that the enforcement exercise is to ensure compliance would be regular occurrences in the state.
The Head of Enforcement in Oshimili South Local Government Council, Mrs. Judith Omoko stated that the council is currently prosecuting non-complaint establishments in court.
She explained that GUO Motors had been served a demand notice for payment but same was contravened before a court order for sealing the premises was obtained.
