The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Udu Local
Government Area of Delta State, Mr.Sam Ughwujowhovwo and his Vice, Hon.
David Siloko have been suspended for incompetence.
AUTHENTIC News Daily gathered that the duo were suspended at a meeting attended by a former Attorney General of Delta State, Chief Moses and Hon. Keston Okoro,a former member of the Delta State House of Assembly,Hon.Igho Akpojotor member Delta State Waste Management Board Delta Central, Chief Egbetama, former Udu Local Government PDP Chairman Mr. Ogaga Jeda and Comrade Elvis Kporo.
It was further gathered that former Transition Committee Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Raymond Edijala moved the motion for the suspension of the PDP Chairman and his vice.
The motion was seconded by Chief C.C.I. Wiliki, former President of
Aladja Community Council.
Ughujohwovwo has been replaced by Hon. Saturday Mofoye from Ward 9.
This is sequel to the purported zoning of the LGA chairmanship
position to UDU south as orchestrated by Hon. Henry. A. Sakpra, former
Chairman of Udu Local Government Council and now Commissioner for
Special Duties,Delta State Government House and Pa. Sefia.
AUTHENTIC NEWS DAILY Warri,Delta State Correspondent earlier Monday
reported that Hon. Raymond Edijala had reacted to a meeting
wherein the PDP chairmanship slot was allegedly zoned to Udu South to detriment of other members of the party.
Edijala in the said report, urged party faithful to disregard a purported zoning by party leaders and elders.
