The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), H.E. Chief John Odigie-Oyegun has commiserated with the Plateau State Governor, H.E. Simon Bako Lalong over the recent death of his younger brother, Dr. Wummen Tsenba Bako.
Odigie-Oyegun in a condolence letter to the Plateau State Governor on Wednesday, also extended condolences to the immediate family and colleagues of the governor’s younger brother who was a senior lecturer at the University of Jos.
The letter reads:
“I received the news of the recent death of your younger brother, Dr. Wummen Tsenba Bako, with shock and grief.
“Losing a brother or any loved one is never easy. On behalf of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), I extend condolences to Your Excellency and other members of your late brother’s immediate family.
“Many who had contact with your late brother, who was a senior lecturer in the Department of Management and Accounting at the University of Jos, fondly described him as having a very pleasant and accommodating personality.
“Your Excellency, please permit me to also use this medium to commiserate with staff of the University of Jos, Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Association of National Accountants of Nigeria and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria over this sad and painful loss.
“May the Almighty God grant the late Dr. Wummen Tsenba Bako eternal rest and the family the strength to bear the great pain.”
