The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Campaign Organisation in Kaduna State, has expressed delight over Thursday’s turn out of people to welcome the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to the state.

Deputy Director General of the PDP Campaign Organisation in Kaduna, Danjuma Bello Sarki who described the turnout of people as massive and unmatched in the political  history of Kaduna State, said the action is an expression of faith on the part of the people of the state to the PDP as a party and to all its candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

He said the attempt to give a narrative different from what transpired at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna through cheap methods like photoshops or sending out early pictures of the gathering as the main event is an indication that the ruling party in the state has got the message that it has lost the support of the people and that there’s nothing it can do about it other than console itself with lies and deceptive manipulations.

Bello Sarki in the statement said the reception the PDP is getting from the people is making the APC jittery.

He said, “Initially they said we cannot muster enough crowd; when  they saw what happened at the Trade Fair Complex, they said it was because the complex is small; and now that they have seen ABS filled to the brim with people hanging on poles and pillars just to catch a glimpse of our presidential candidate, they now started photo- shopping for pictures with less  crowd to cover their lies about being the party to beat in the state.

“But the people are no fools. They know the party that hired crowds by paying people to come in buses from local governments, they know the party whose governorship candidate was prevented from getting close to the presidential candidate at the venue of their rally and they know the party that does not harbour wicked intentions for them.

“We appreciate the people of Kaduna state for their show of love, solidarity and affection.

“They defied hunger, bad roads, lack of infrastructural development, sack,  intimidation and bad leadership for the past three years to come out in our support.

“The PDP has taken note of all these and will not betray the trust the people of the state have in it.

“Let us all come out on election day  and vote out bad leadership for the benefit of the majority of the people of Kaduna State”.
