Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the governorship candidate of the PDP In Zamfara state on Monday pledged to complete the state investment house that was started by former Governor Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi and abandoned by the government of Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari.
Dr.Bello Mohammed Matawalle assured that all the abandoned projects that have economic impacts would be completed and put into effective and functional projects to shift from depending fully on the federal allocations and grants from the federal government.
He gave the assurance during his campaigns in Gumi and Bukkuyum local government areas of the state
Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle who reaffirmed that his commitment would be to open avenues for economic prosperity of the state and youths empowerment to make the youths more helpful to themselves.
” I know many ways of ending terror attacks and other forms of crimes that have developed in the state in recent time ” he noted.
He appealed to the electorates to cast their votes for PDP candidates during the 2019 general elections
According to him, his blue print was to attract capital and infrastructural development to the state, especially in the areas of agriculture and solid minerals if the people vote for the PDP in all the elective positions in the country.
“I am very much awre that Zamfara state has a lot solid minerals resources and very much endowed with agricultural potentials” he lamented.
While acknowledging the support shown to him by the youths and women in the state during the flagging off of his campaign, the governorship hopeful assured that his administration would empower the youths and women in the state .
He expressed appreciation for the massive turn out of people during his campaigns which he said signified that the people especially the youths and women who he said are the voting powers in every election.
Matawalle described Zamfara state people as peaceful people, saying that since the uncontrolled killings of innocent lives started in the state , the people have not revolted against either the state government or federal government.
