A twenty five years old footballer,Great Efe who has been incarcerated at the Nigeria Prisons Service in Okere, Warri has regained his freedom.
Efe who claimed to be a “midfield” player of Level Planners Football Club, Ughelli was released from prison custody by the Delta State Chief Judge, Justice Marshal Mukoro yesterday.
In a chat with newsmen shortly after he was released, Efe said he was arrested on alleged “Armed robbery” by the Police.
He said he had spent barely over a year in the prison without trial.
Efe who denied the thanked God Almighty for his freedom and promised to focus on his football career.
In a similar vein, twenty three years old Abdusallam Okoja who was also released by the CJ said him&others from Nasarawa State were arrested for alleged stealing of a motorcycle, a charge which they all denied.
He said,”I am very grateful I have been released. I thank God and I pray God to bless the man who released me.”
