Senator, Top Media Practitioners, Other Dignitaries Throng AIT Big Boy, Gandu’s Wedding In Kaduna

The solemnization of Holy Matrimony of Abayo Gandu of the Africa Independent Television (AIT)/Raypower FM Kaduna with his heartthrob Rosemary was witnessed by several dignitaries from all spheres of life.

Top among those spotted, was the Senator representing Southern Kaduna in the 9th Assembly, Distinguished Senator Danjuna Tella La’ah, who stormed the venue dazzling in white  babariga  beaming all smiles and acknowledging cheers from supporters and well wishers.

Also storming the reception venue, was Kaduna State Governments, Malam Nasir el-Rufai’s spokesman, Samuel Aruwan, who also received a lot of attention from several in the hall.

Immediate colleagues of Gandu from AIT/Raypower were seen at the venue in good numbers.

Top journalists sighted included Elder John Fwah, a veteran journalist and a one time Sports Editor of New Nigerian Newspapers.

Also visibly present, was the Online Editor of New Nigerian, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, who was seen on the same table at the VIP Corner, with the Chairman, Correspondents Chapel, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna State Council, Mr. Midat Joseph.

On the same table, the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kaduna State Chairman, Comrade Isaiah Kemji Benjamin, who is also the Bureau Chief of LEADERSHIP Newspapers in the state, alongside his photo-journalist, Gbenga Folorunso Abiola were also seated.

With them was a seasoned journalist and activist, Mr. Bomba Dauda.

Earlier in church, the wedding solemnization was done with the joining of the couple by priests led by Very Reverend Father Bulus Karis, assisted by Reverend Father Raphael Pius, Reverend Father Joshua Actor, Reverend Father Daniel Nagaji and Reverend Father Mises Ogboji

In an interview with our correspondent,  Chief Brides Maid, Rhoda Omengala des river the bride as a lovely person.

“I have known the bride for as long as I can’t remember. She is my cousin. She is a beautiful soul. She loves babies and children.

“I am going to miss her but happy she is getting married,” she said.

For the Best Man, Bossan Yakussak, he described the groom as a perfect gentleman.
” Gandu is my colleague, friend, brother he like children and he also loves to enjoy himself. 

“I am sure she is lucky to have him as a husband because he is God fearing, intelligent, hard working, calm and down to earth,” he added.
