While announcing that the issues have been resolved, Kaduna Electric has blamed the regulatory agencies for in-house union disturbances within the company on Tuesday.
Thus was contained in a statement signed by its Head, Corporate Communications, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, dated October 15, 2019.
“The Management of Kaduna Electric has resolved the disquiet occasioned by the action of one of the in-house unions this morning.
“All issues raised have been addressed and normal operations have been restored in all our offices and cash centres.
“As we have said, this sad incidence has again called to question the undue pressure being exerted on Distribution Companies by regulatory agencies which make it exceedingly difficult for them to effectively discharge their obligations to the market and other stakeholders.
“We urge all our esteemed customers to be rest assured of our resolve to continue to provide uninterrupted services in spite of the stifling effects of these recent regulations,” it concluded.
