The Coalition of Nigeria Youth Associations (CONYA) has rebuked some of the so-called Boss Mustapha’s allies fuelling talks about his running ambition with Bola Ahmed Tinubu for presidency come 2023.
Speaking at the end of the parley, the association’s National Coordinator, Comrade Nuhu Sani Lere said that those fronting for the alliance are just doing so for their selfish interest, he noted that Mustpaha’s concentration is to serve his mother land and deliver mandates given to him by President Muhammadu Buhari as the secretary to the government of federation (SGF). “You will all agree with me that all those who fuel the 2023 alliance of Tinubu/Boss are just posing as good Samaritans, only to cause more confusion than the reality. Mr. Boss Mustapha is a committed Nigeria and an elder statesman, who is focused in ensuring that President Buhari’s mandates are achieved. Therefore, we in CONYA have reiterated that we are solely behind the truth, and the trust remain constant that Boss has no idea of what they are doing,” said Comrade Lere.
The group call on well-meaning Nigerians to consider that there are quite a number of groups who operate by proxy in order to cause confusion in the Buhari led-government. It added that although 2023 can be seen as yet another big political year, but all those behind President Muhammadu are men of integrity, who feel working for the greater Nigeria is more prosperous than thinking of yet another succession.
“We are the Nigerian Youths, and are working tirelessly in creating the much needed awareness on all other youth groups in the country to downplay any group or fraternity of people trying to bring confusion, in this trying times we are in. Rather, we pray for all those behind the president to deliver their respective primary obligations. Therefore, we maintained that Boss Mustapha is a committed public servant and an elder statesman, whose focus is to ensure great success for the government of the federation,” says CONYA.
