The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai has said that realistic training is the best means of preparing officers and men of the Nigerian Army to achieving their goals.
General Buratai was while declaring open the procurement seminar for Unit Adjutants and Administrative Staff Officers of the Nigerian Army at the Army Resource Centre, Abuja.
Represented by the Chief of Army Logistics Major General JB Unuigbo, Buratai noted that the timing of the seminar is very apt in view of the increasing need to expand the administrative capacity of personnel.
In his remarks, Deputy Director of Army Procurement, Brigadier General ET Essien said, the seminar is aimed at affording officers and men of the Nigerian Army the opportunity to broaden their knowledge in financial management and capacity.
The Seminar with the theme: ”Building the capacity of Unit Adjutants and Administrative Staff Officer for effective procurement and financial management in the Nigerian Army” had in attendance, procurement and administrative officers from the Army and other security agencies
