In order to boost confidence of sellers and buyers of landed properties in Kaduna State, members of the Community Land and Property, Agency Development Association of Nigeria Company Limited (CLAPANDA) has commenced the registration of all their members in Kaduna State.
Speaking after a one-day meeting held at Arewa House by officials of the association from state and local government level, the state chairman, Alhaji Shefiu Salisu Abubakar said that a committee has been set up to see how the system is sanitized.
“We want to create confidence also well as have a conducive atmosphere between buyers and sellers of properties especially land in Kaduna state.”
“People misunderstand us by the actions of some bad elements that is why we are registering members and issuing them genuine Identity Cards (ID cards) so that people can properly identify our members,” he said.
Alhaji Shefiu, who is popularly known as “Commander” by his friends and supporters said that for the association to be of relevance to the society, quacks and especially unqualified persons must be weeded out of the association.
He praised the efforts of Mal Nasir el-Rufai’s government in its bid to sanitize the issues of land in Kaduna state as he pledged the association resolve to work with the government in order to bring back the glory of the state as the capital of northern Nigeria.
