The political head quarters of Northern Nigeria and one of Nigeria’s nerve centres, Kaduna stood still on Saturday for the wedding ceremony of the daughter of the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe.
Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai, alongside other top dignitaries, attended the wedding Fatiha of the daughter of his Deputy.
The wedding of Amina Husnah Balarabe and her groom Abdulazeez Abubakar took place at the Sultan Bello Mosque, in Kaduna.
Top politicians, civil servants, traditional title holders and businessmen all over the State over the weekend thronged Kaduna for the wedding ceremony of Amina Husnah Balarabe and her groom Abdulazeez Abubakar.
Marriage is something most parents look forward to which she had looked forward to especially for her daughter.
Many people looked forward to the marriage. She could feel that a lot of people were looking forward to the opportunity to give her the required support. She was so excited and she give glory to God that she was alive to witness her daughte’s wedding. She is a very nice girl.
Parents, don’t have to choose a wife for their son or a husband for their daughter. What is expected of you, is just to guide and counsel them on the way to go.
Parents roles is to tell them not to look at riches. Marriage is everlasting. Wedding is one day, courtship is for a period of time. It is who your soul clicks with that you should marry.
In her expression, she said her daughter would make a good wife because she was brought up in the way of God.
“We are grateful to Almighty Allah that made this day a reality. We thank all of you for making it a date with us,” this is all her expressions.
However, the wedding, which held at Kaduna, on Friday night with a dinner party of Amina Balarabe (Husnah) Daughter of Her Excellency Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe was held with prominent people in attendance.
