Hon. Lukman Adamawa, the Gubernatorial Liaison Officer (GLO) of Ifedapo Federal Constituency who also doubles as the Special Assistant on Political Affairs to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde has felicitated with Muslim faithful across his Federal Constituency and around the world as they commence the holy month of Ramadan, praying that the crescent-shaped moon brightens their path towards enlightenment.
In his address, Hon. Lukman Adamawa sent appreciation to “the Star Governor of Nigeria”, the amiable Oyo State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde (GSM) for the opportunity and recognition extended to serve the community. He however urged Muslim brothers and sisters to use the Ramadan to walk humbly, talk politely, dress neatly, treat kindly, pray attentivelyand donate generously as the world battles to contain COVID 19 pandemic.
He thanked team ‘LAAF’ and stressed his congratulatory message. “Hard work spotlights the character of people. I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach the destination with your efforts.” Team LAAF had been supportive and creative. As we collectively run this small office to glory, may our Federal Constituency be the pride of the nation, together we can make the difference.
Hon. Adamawa urged Ifedapo Federal Constituents and Oyo State residents to use this holy month to reflect on and commit ourselves to personal discipline, compassion, good brotherliness and selfless service to humanity.
In his words, “As the Qur’an is recited during the Ramadan season, I pray that our hearts and minds agrees to what we read. We must be doers, not hearers only. It’s the doing that counts, not just mere utterances”.
May Allah send light to every dark area in our life and accept our worship, while he grants us tranquillity.May our Ramadaan be blessed (Ramadaan Mubarak). May Allah accept our good deeds.
