The Presidency Federal Ministry Of Youth And Sports North West Zone Headquarter, Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna has expressed delight over the emergence of its Zonal representative on the board as the Esports Federation of Nigeria President.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Zonal Co-ordinator, North-West Zone, Idris Abdullahi, made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Wednesday July 1, 2020.
“Please, kindly be informed that the North-West Zonal Representative on the Board of Esports Federation of Nigeria has emerged as the President of the federation.
“The election was conducted on the 25th of June, 2020 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, through Zoom (conference meeting) method,” it stated.
In the statement titled, “ELECTION OF NORTH-WEST ZONAL REPRESENTATIVE AS THE
PRESIDENT OF ESPORTS FEDERATION OF NIGERIA” it further said that Barrister Maikori’s election is a clear manifestation of the belief the Zonal Sports Office had in his qualities of leadership, simplicity, transparency, technical know-
how and general determination to excel in Esports and related activities.
While urging the Esports Federation Board members to cooperate with one another, work harmoniously and exact extra efforts in the implementation of the cardinal objectives of creating the federation, the Zonal office congratulated him.
” I wish to Congratulate the President and his Board members for the election viz-a-viz their visions and missions,. Once again, Congratulations. Accept Our Esteem Sporting Regard Please ” it said.
