*pledges support for Kaduna Runs

Impressed by the massive infrastructural development taking place in Kaduna State under the Urban Renewal, the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Bashir Jamoh has said that Governor Nasir el-Rufai is will not just be leaving behind legacies at the end of his tenure, but a heritage which generations yet unborn will benefit from.
He expressed this, while speaking at the unveiling of the of the plans for maiden Kaduna Marathon, tagged “Kaduna Runs” by the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir el-Rufai at the Council Chambers, Kaduna State Government House on Saturday.
“Your Excellency, this your thoughtful and proactive approach is what every Nigerian should thank you for.
“As far as I am.concerned, you are not leaving a legacy, but heritage,” he said.
Dr. Jamo said that Kaduna State just like Lagos, is set to keep a date with history in sports development through the maiden edition of the marathon.
Speaking further, he praised Governor el-Rufai for Infrastructural development.
“If you left this city two months ago and come back, you may miss your way as a result of the massive infrastructural development.
He therefore, pledged support of NIMASA to the marathon races which is expected to attract several foreign top marathoners.
