A youth developmental and national consciousness body, Youth for New Nigeria (YNN) has concluded plans to host a nationwide summit in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State to be held on November 21, 2020.
Speaking to the Oyo State Coordinator (YNN) Alhaji Abiola Ogungbade in Ibadan, the state capital, he clarified that the summit is the first of it’s kind in Oyo State in commemoration of the 2nd National Convention holding at Akwa Ibom this November.
it was scheduled to be carried out by each state across the federation due to insecurity of the country.
He reteirated that, with the concern of all youth bodies in Akinyele LG and other youth forum within Oyo State and nationwide, particularly in Oyo State should grace the occasion to collectively birth a New Nigeria that all and sundry will be proud of, with a theme, “Setting youth on the path for New Nigeria”.
Ogungbade, stressed that, dignitaries from all endeavours were invited to spice up the summit to be held at Amao Group of Schools, Akingblie, area of Ibadan by 12pm prompt.
Guest speakers expected at the event include, Hon Ayo Fatokun Representing Akinyele Constituency 1, Special Assistant to the Governor of Oyo State on Youth and Sports; Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, Prof Rasheed Olaniyi (Dept. of History University of Ibadan), Amb. Bobola Agbaje, State Coordinator (NYCN), Hon. Adetayo Adekunle, Ex-member Nigeria Youth Parliament, Mr. Akintunde Yusuf, Publisher, the Trail Blazer.
