Come 2023, son of ex Jigawa State Governor, Sule Lamido, Mustapha Sule Lamido will be the youngest Governor in Nigeria.
SA on Youth and Support Groups to former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas expressed this after he held a closed door meeting with Mustapha Lamido in Abuja on Wednesday.
“The freedom and human capacities of individuals must be developed to their maximum but individual powers must be linked to democracy in the sense that social betterment must be the necessary consequence of individual flourishing.
“It was a pleasure meeting my friend and brother in the struggle Mustapha Sule Lamido, we discussed extensively in how to move Jigawa State and Nigeria forward,” he added.
Ambassador Abbas described Mustapha as a young, vibrant and committed servant, whom he believes will take Jigawa State to greater heights if given the mandate.
“We both agreed that our youth are not failing the system; the system is failing our youth.
“Ironically, the very youth who are being treated the worst are the young people who are going to lead us out of this nightmare,” he added.
He concluded by stressing, “We respect you the Youngest Governor of the federation come 2023 insha Allah.”
