APC accuses Kaduna chapter of insubordination over Shehu Sani’s suspension
    By AUSTIN OWOICHO, Abuja
The lingering crisis rocking  the Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) as attracted the attention of the National leadership of the party, following the refusal of the state chapter  to heed to  the position of the  zonal leadership of the party which stood down the alleged  suspension of Senator Shehu Sani from the party.
Acting National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Comrade Timi Frank, has cautioned on the consequences of what  he described as “insubordination.”
It would be recalled that National Vice Chairman (North-West) of the party, Barrister Inuwa Abdulkadir, had after meeting with party stakeholders in the state last Monday, lifted the suspension of Sani, a move which did not go down well with the state chapter which said the Senator’s suspension remained.
Kaduna State Publicity Secretary of the APC, Salisu Tanko Wusono, had faulted Abdulkadir’s  lifting of the suspension, saying the zonal vice chairman acted without the consent of the national leadership of the party, contrary to Section 21 of the APC constitution.
A statement signed by the Acting National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Comrade Timi Frank, in Abuja, asked the state chapter to desist from

making further utterances bothering on Sani’s suspension, adding that the decision of the zonal chairman was the position of the party’s national body and subsisted.
He cautioned the state chapter of the party to desist forthwith further acts which tend to embarrass the party, just as he reminded the chapter of party supremacy and loyalty.
“The position taken by the northwest vice chairman, Inuwa Abdulkadir subsists and has the backing of the national body. It is pertinent that all party stakeholders and members take note of this and submit to the will of the party no matter their interests in the matter.
“Rather than continue to sow seeds of discord, we must endeavor to bolster party unity and cohesion. All hands must be on deck to achieve this and not continue in acts that only expose us to the opposition parties and manipulations of a few”, Timi Frank said.
