A Nigerian-born lawyer, based in Toronto, Canada, Honourable Felix Silas has criticized the school feeding programme of Governor Nasir el-Rufai-led Kaduna State Government, describing it as a misplaced priority.
He wondered why Governor el-Rufai would prefer to feed pupils who are seating on the bare floor to learn.
Silas said that it would have also been preferable if el-Rufai had provided jobs for the parents of the, describing the government as unserious.
“Someone should please tell el-Rufai that spoon feeding kids without rehabilitating their classrooms and providing jobs for their parents as a first priority is as useless as tickling the sausage every night with your wife and expecting conception.
“You had the will to serve food in this kind of classroom? Wow! What a ‘serious’ government,” he said.
