The most likely candidate to replace the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohammed as the new National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dawuda Gana on Thursday January 21 in London, marked his birthday quietly with his family.
Gana who most of his friends and associates say is highly patriotic to the cause of Nigeria and the ruling party, contributed immensely to the success of the APC at the general elections last year.
He was always visible on the social media, arguing in favour of the then opposition party, based on his conviction, an act he still does even today.
He is being tipped by several people in the inner circles of the ruling party to replace Mohammed, being favoured as a good candidate because he is also from the North Central, the zone that must retain the position, according to the party’s constitution.
The constitution states that the National Working Committee of the party should comprise of two members from each zone.
