The Ondo state government has assured that power supply to industries in the state would soon receive a boost with works nearing completion at the power plant sited in Omotosho in the State
Speaking with newsmen during an inspection tour of the project site in Ore, Odigbo local government area, the State’s Commissioner for Information, Kayode Akinmade said the project has reached 80 percent completion.
Addressing the media in company of the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Chief Ayo Abiola, he expressed delight on the quality of the work being done at the site, even as he assured that no effort would be spared to get the project completed as scheduled.
Also speaking during the tour which had in attendance the management staff of the ministry and members of the state Chamber of Commerce of Industry , Mine and Agriculture( OSCCIMA), , Abiola described power as a strong driver of viable economy, stressing that the project when completed, would improve industrial activities with attendant consequent employment creation and revenue generation.
