Adamu Shehu Muazu representing Katsina State has emerged winner of the Hon Ibrahim Gusau North West Zone Half Marathon Race held in Kaduna on Saturday.
He finished in a time of 1hr 08:23:41, to beat Isah Mohammed from Kano State who followed closely with time of 1hr 09:26:90, settling for the second position.
Third position went to Raymond Simeon who clocked 1hr 10:11:45.
In the female category, Monica Ezekiel from Zamfara State finished first in 1hr 29:04:82. Second position went to Alheri Sunday of Jigawa State who finished in 1hr 29:04:12, while Helen Mamman also from Jigawa State was third with time of 1hr 29:51:18.
