*Lai Mohammed, Edward Onoja, others guilty of spreading falsehood

A trending propaganda being championed by top Presidency officials and influential APC members, praising the Muhammadu Buhari administration for discovering alleged looted funds from a grave has been busted.
AUTHENTIC News Daily observes that without proper investigation, the respected public figures misled the public and some online and mainstream media houses on the said discovery, publishing photo shopped pictures of EFCC officials at the discovery site.
Though the EFCC has not come out with a statement condemning of accepting the feat, the development may further deal a big blow to the anti-corruption fight of the administration as it would raise questions of credibility.
AUTHENTIC News Daily did a research and the findings revealed that the actual photos were taken somewhere in South America and not Nigeria as being insinuated.
To clear the air on this, it is expected that those who misled the public should come out and apologise.
Notable personalities that spread the falsehood are Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed who issued a statement and Chief of Staff to the Kogi State Governor, Honourable Edward Onoja who published it on Facebook as an achievement of the present administration.
