The secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) located along Muhammadu Buhari Way, formerly WAFF Road is having some unexpected guests in form of policemen.
Images captured outside the premises as at 9:30am on Monday morning shows that Police Vehicles are stationed on the right and left sides of the entrance.
Though details are still sketchy, is is assumed that they are there to prevent breakdown of law and order, while students of tertiary institutions located in Southern Kaduna brief the press.
The briefing which was originally slated for 9:30am was postponed to 12:30pm, without no explanations from the Secretary of the council, Dauda Idris Doka why it was shifted.
The students, AUTHENTIC News Daily gathered from an authoritative source will be led to the briefing under the umbrella of Southern Kaduna Youth and Students Forum.
With the development, there is uncertainty if the briefing would still hold as scheduled as many journalists may fail to visit the secretariat for fear of the unknown.
Kaduna State within the last two years has been a hostile ground for journalists, with four presently indiferent courts, while three have tasted detention, with two cooling off at the Kaduna Convict Prison for some time.
