Igbos Are Not Marginalised – Yoruba Leader

    By  ACHADU GABRIEL, Kaduna
Chairman council of Yoruba Traditional Obas and Chiefs in the  19 Northern States and Abuja, Amb. Mohammad Arigbabuwo on Thursday said, the Igbos are not marginalised as claimed by agitators of Biafra, saying the people are well represented in the leadership of the country.
Amb. Arigbabuwo who made the declaration in an interview in Kaduna said as ministers, Deputy Senate President and other top government functionaries, Igbos are represented in the government.
He said “Elderly Igbo men cannot talk about marginalisation because they are in the system.
“It’s a joke for them to say they are marginalised, take it or leave it, they are in the system,” he repeated.
The chairman said he has already advised the Federal Government on what to do to achieve utmost togetherness.
“The only thing they should do is to call on the attention of reliable soldiers from the Northern part of the country, South-west, South-South and South-East to come together,” he stated, stressing that President Buhari,  Vice Osinbajo and other spirited Nigerian leaders  were brought to power by God to rescue the lost glory and image of Nigeria.
According to him, Nigeria has been changed totally from its former  wrong direction it was going to the part of greatness.
“There is no way Nigeria will break now, it’s a joke, and whoever that is playing for that, to me, is wasting his time, it is God that joined us together.
“Igbos are not going anywhere, Yorubas are not going  anywhere, we are together,” he maintained.
On the Northern youth groups and the quit notice to Igbos, Arigbabuwo said no Nigerian, including president and vice president are above the law, adding that anyone who violates it, no matter his position or state of origin, is liable for punishment.
He expressed displeasure over the quit notice, saying that “you cannot come from somewhere to cause confusion in another place,” said.
