A former Military Administrator and former Secretary General of Arewa consultative Forum (ACF), Col. John Ubah (rtd) has asked the Chief Judge of Kaduna State, Hon. Justice Tanimu Zailani to reassign the suit between Lawrence Enyesiobi and himself because he has lost confidence in the presiding Judge Hon. Justice Bashir Sukola.

This was contained a letter of application written to the Chief Judge and made available to newsmen by Col. Ubah (rtd).

In the application letter, Col. Ubah said Justice Sukola had abused his office by rejecting previous applications dated June 2, 2017 and an oral follow up on the same in court on June 19, 2017 for him to withdraw from the matter due to the reasons given in the applications.

According to him, “I present the case using the reference of Nnamdi Kanu asking that his case be taken from the trial Judge for the same reason I have mentioned. His application was granted immediately. However, Justice Sukola has refused, saying that my application was a personal letter to him”, he stressed.

In his conclusion, Col. Ubah added that the refusal of the Judge, simply confirms that as presiding Judge his has an interest to favour the plaintiff rather than Justice and therefore, urged the Chief Judge of the State to kindly re-assign the matter/ case.
