The Senate has ordered the contractor handling the Epkoma Alignment on the Lokoja-Benin Highway back to site, in view if its deplorable condition
Vice Chairman of Senate Committee on Works, Senator Clifford Ordia disclosed this when speaking during a courtesy visit to the Governor of Edo State, when he led other members of the committee on an oversight function to Edo State.

The vice chairman decried the total failure of the Lokoja /Benin highway in particular the collapse of the Ekpoma alignment while assuring that other contractors are waiting for the raining season to be over to continue their portions
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State received the committee members and expressed the state’s readiness to cooperate with the federal government to address critical infrastructural development in the state.
Other members of the committee on the oversight are Senator Mustapha Sani, Senator Ben Bruce and Senator Biodun Olujimi.
