Nigerian Ex-international suffered a one goal defeat from the Armed Forces Special Team in a friendly match played on Wednesday at the Jaji Military base in Kaduna.
The only goal which was scored at exactly five minutes into the second half of the match was scored by the striker of the team, Ekere Jonah through a tactical pass from the defensive midfielder at the half way of the field.

The victory gave the Armed Forces Special Team a boost of competing in a more competitive tournament in the future having defeated the Ex-international.
The Ex-international team featured Ex-players like: Emmanuel Babayaro, Ishaya Jato, Emmanuel Isa, Omoh Attah among others.
Speaking to Journalists shortly after the friendly match, Emmanuel Babayaro who led the team says: “despite the fact that the Ex-international players are not getting younger our performances today is still not bad compare to these young military boys”.
He lauded the synergy between his team and the military, saying such should continued to be encouraged between the military and the civilians.
Earlier, the Commander Deport Nigeria Army, Brigadier General Victor Ezegwu while speaking to Journalists during an interview session said beyond fighting insurgency in the north –east and other part of the country that the winning strategy has been extended to the football field by his men.
“We are not only known to be fighting wars, but also, we have skilful and talented men in the military that can do Nigeria proud in any sporting activities”, he said.
