Al-makura Donates Two Vehicles To Radio Nigeria

    Governor Umaru Tanko Almakura of Nasarawa state has donated  two
    vehicles to Radio Nigeria Precious FM Lafia, an 18 seater Bus and a
    Nissan salon car to the management of  the station.
    A statement signed by Ahmed Tukur the Special Assistant Media and
    Publicity to Al-makura said that the governor has promised to continue
    to assist media organisation in the state to carry out their
    assignment without hindrance or encumbrances.

    The statement said that the donation is in fulfilment of the promise
    made by the governor to the general manager of the station Musa
    Abdullahi last week.

    Al-makura said that as a media friendly governor his administration
    will ensure that they operate in a conducive environment to enhance
    their efficiency that will bring rapid development and dissemination
    of the activities of government.

    He urged them to always abide by the ethics of the profession to avoid
    misrepresentation of facts.

    He also promised to construct the road leading to the Media station
    from Shendam road Lafia   so as   ensure easy access   by staff and
    other media users in the state.

    He said that the media as the mirror of the society has a great role
    to play in the success of every administration while calling on the
    media to always give constructive criticism that will assist
    government carry out its function for the overall development of the
    state.

    In his vote of thanks the general manger Musa Abdullahi thank the
    state governor and promise to project the image of the state and
    publicize the activities of the state government and its agencies.
