An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Hajia Binta Muazu has warned that no section of the country will accept maltreatment from the other.

She expressed this while fielding questions from newsmen who paid her an Eid-el-Kabir visit at her residence in Kaduna.

According to her, it is in view of that she is commending the Arewa Youth who recently withdrew the quit notice handed down to Nigerians of Igbo extraction to quit the region by October 1, 2017.

“I support the stakeholders in withdrawing the quit notice to Igbos in the North.

“What the Arewa youth did is a lesson to youth from other parts of the country to emulate and embrace peaceful coexistence.

“It shows that no sector of the country will accept maltreatment,” she said.

Speaking further, she said that there is nothing like peace and unity, as such, all sections of the country should be committed to the Nigerian project.

“I urge all our youth to remain peaceful and parents should continue to advise their children to embrace peace.

“We should place Nigeria first. We should work together to make Nigeria a greater place for all of us,” she added.

“We thank Almighty Allah for the celebration. We are very happy we are celebrating with our President, Buhari back from treatment abroad. We pray that he will rule over affairs that every citizen will be touched and happy with his tenure,” she submitted.
