Kogi Gov Hails Saraki For Leadership Role In North Central

    The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has expressed gratitude to the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki for the fatherly role he is providing for the North-Central and its general development.

    A statement  signed by the SLA to the Senate President, Prince Idris Abdulmalik Afegbua explained that Governor Bello made his feelings known when the Senate Committee on Works on oversight function on roads in the North-Central states visited him at the Lugard House, Lokoja.

    The governor said that the exemplary leadership that the Senate president is giving the country particularly the North-Central will remain nostalgic for years to come. He explained that the tested politicians that the senate president assigned chairmanship of various committees in the senate attest that the era of good things for Nigeria has come.

    The governor also said that the APC administration under President Muhammadu Buhari is a sign of Nigeria’s fulfilment to true nationhood. He further explained that the war against corruption being waged by the Buhari administration will soon give the country the road map to greatness.

    The Kogi State governor thanked the Senate Committee for their tirelessness in ensuring that the era of abandoning road contracts thereby making roads in the country death trap are over. He commended the leadership of the Senate Committee on works for making the entire country a constituency for ensuring that all roads contracts in the country are effectively monitored for result. He said that with the calibre of people in the committee, Nigerians will indeed know that the APC mean well for the country adding that the mantra of change of the APC is not a fluke. He urges Nigerians to continue to support the Buhari administration and pray for peace and development in the country.
