Only former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar can Nigeria from its present myriad of challenges, a university don, Dr. Lawal Musa has suggested.
He expressed this at the Arewa House, Kaduna last weekend, where he was an invited guest at the inauguration of Kaduna State executives of the Atiku Care Foundation.
Dr. Lawal, who lectures as a lecturer at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, stated this while delivering a goodwill message.
He said that the economic and political posers the country was facing needs an experienced hand like Atiku, who has been successful in business and politics.
“No politician in Nigeria is as resilient as Wazirin Adamawa, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. He is a crowd puller and can overcome several challenges.
” Unlike others, when he was the vice president, he was not a push over or a spare tyre, who could be used and dumped.
“He rose to the task and saved our democracy by frustrating ex President Olusegun Obasanjo’s third term bid, since then all other things happening ate being recorded in our history books,” he said.
The university don said that Nigerians trust Atiku because he is a focused politician who is always true to his words.
On corruption, he said that if anyone has evidence that Atiku enriched himself through corruption and fails to come out to expose such, “May God punish such individuals,” he cursed.
“We look forward to converging on the Eagle Square, Abuja in 2019 to swear-in Atiku as our President,” he predicted.
