Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc will always be willing to partner any project that would add value to the development of Nigeria and its people.

Public Affairs Manager (North), NB Plc, Mr. Danjuma John-Ekele, emphasized this while speaking on the sidelines if the closing ceremony of the 2017 Fifth Chukker African Patrons Polo Tournament at the Fifth Chukker Polo and Country Club, Kaduna on Sunday.
He explained that in view of that, the company supported the tournament.
“For us, we try to support platforms that provide strategic core values just like we have at NB Plc in making the society better,” he said.
On why polo was chosen, he said that just as their products are the ‘king’ being the best available in Nigeria, polo is also a game of kings, and the king of games, which is another testimony of shared values.
“Fifth Chukker is a good platform to partner with because it is a brand that was built through quality leadership and focused on leaving a lasting legacy, another value we also share,” he added.
Mr. John-Ekele said that just as Kaduna State would be celebrating its centenary this year, NB Plc is also celebrating 54 years and our international brand Heineken is celebrating 150 years of brewing excellence.
On the partnership with Fifth Chukker, though he refused to disclose the monetary value, he said that they provided free refreshment all through the week long event, expressing hope that next year, they are hoping to play a bigger role.
