The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it received disturbing reports of the non availability of result sheets in the ongoing Enugu State local government elections.
This was contained in a statement signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.
“The APC by this statement draws the attention of the Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ESIEC) and other relevant bodies to this serious anomaly which casts serious doubts on the credibility of the ongoing electoral process.
“The Party strongly advises ESIEC, the election management body for the ongoing Enugu State local government elections to urgently correct this anomaly so as not to set the stage for disputes that may render the outcome of the election unacceptable,” it stated.
